vibeheatmap.com is run by TrueSpan Works. We collect as little as we can: there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking on this site.
The newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the service that sends our weekly email, along with when you signed up and which signup form you used. Buttondown first sends a confirmation email, and nothing else is sent until you confirm. Like most email services, Buttondown may record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can leave at any time. To have your address deleted entirely, email hello@vibeheatmap.com.
This website
- We don't use analytics, tracking scripts or advertising, and we don't set cookies.
- If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
- The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical data such as IP addresses and browser types to deliver the pages and block abuse.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent personal data, and we don't share email addresses with anyone except Buttondown, for the sole purpose of sending the newsletter.
Reddit posts shown here
Project pages show the titles of public Reddit posts and link to the original threads. Reddit usernames are never shown. To have a post of yours removed, email hello@vibeheatmap.com with the link.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions: hello@vibeheatmap.com.
